Nov. 2015: KIST completed the design and fabrication of a Flash Measurement System. This system will be used to measure the muzzle flash from suppressed and unsuppressed weapon systems.
Oct. 2015: KIST completed the design of a new pistol mount for the ARMY. This mount is intended to be used during reliability testing of pistols. The mount incorporates many of the features used in the Accuracy Mount developed by KIST, included molded inserts for each weapon system.
Sep. 2015: KIST delivered a new optical based scoring system (Spectra Score) to the Army. This system allows for the electronic scoring of subsonic projectiles. This eliminates the need for paper or cloth targets and manually scoring of those targets. This system complements the supersonic scoring system that KIST already developed (Sonic Score).
Aug. 2015: KIST completes the development of a control system for a 1200 hp ROV Trencher.
